Staying at the Redbeck was a delightful surprise. As a London-based beach lover, I wasn't expecting quite the gem I found just outside Wakefield. I opted for the lower-standard room, which turned out to be just what I needed: small but comfortable, clean, and safe, perfect for a solo female traveler like myself. It had everything necessary, including a flat-screen TV and ironing facilities, making for a great home base. The atmosphere in the motel really stood out; I loved seeing locals flock in for meals, which says a lot about the quality of food served. Breakfast was a highlight-a sizable Full English with chips that left nothing on my plate. The friendly staff added to the overall experience, always ready to help, and plenty of seating meant no long waits, even on a rainy Sunday morning. The best part? The value. The amenities, like free Wi-Fi and a welcoming bar/lounge area, made for a very enjoyable stay without breaking the bank. I'm already planning my next visit-definitely worth it for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and value!
